STUDENT PAPER CONTEST

The 10 finalists

Out of the presented excellent 142 papers , the Juries have voted for the ten top papers.
The selected papers will be presented in a special poster session on Sunday, December 28th 2003 where three of them will be selected in a second round for the student paper contest awards.

Authors of the above 10 papers will have free registration, free accommodation and free attendance of the tutorials.
They are asked to prepare their posters to be presented on a board of size 1m x 1m.

The organizing committee of the MWSCAS2003 congratulates the finalists wishing them all good luck in the final round.

 

 

The 46th IEEE International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems will be held at the Nile Hilton Hotel, Cairo Egypt during the period 27th - 30th December 2003.
The seventh annual Student Paper Contest will be held as one of the conference activities.

  • Three Prizes in form of free trips to Luxor and Asswan will be awarded.

  • Ten papers will be selected for presentation at the conference to compete for these prizes.

  • All ten students selected to present their papers in the student paper competition will receive free conference registration and free accommodations
     

To qualify:

  1. The first author must be a student (full time or part time) at the time the paper is submitted to the contest.
  2. Must be the first listed author.
  3. must have done more than 50% of the work described in the paper.
  4. Must present the paper at the conference if it is selected for the contest.
    Co-authors, including faculty advisors, are allowed on the paper as long as the first author meets the qualifications.

Camera Ready Papers due at conference

All papers MUST be submitted electronically through the MWSCAS web page!
Beside the name of the first author the word Student should be typed.
No email or hard copy submissions will be accepted.
